Reflecting on EOS & NYX: Bringing a Stunning Vision to Life

We’re excited to take a moment to look back and reflect on one of our most visually stunning and rewarding project—EOS & NYX, a unique restaurant and bar now welcoming guests in the heart of San Jose, California. This project was an incredible journey from concept to grand opening, and we couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out.

From Vision to Reality

When we revisit the original renderings, it’s remarkable to see just how faithfully the design vision translated into reality. The space, a massive 4,000-square-foot urban oasis, is nothing short of breathtaking. Here, modern elegance meets Mediterranean charm, creating an environment where guests aren’t just dining—they’re experiencing something special. The thoughtful selection of materials, the design details, and the overall atmosphere all contribute to a truly unique destination.

We were honored to collaborate with the talented team at MANU Studios, who brought their vision to life with skill and creativity.

The amazing Basile Design Team did outstanding work on the conceptual design, including the jaw-dropping, two-story alcohol conveyor belt bar system and the double-height liquor carousel. These features alone are worth the visit, offering guests an unforgettable experience that blends functionality with flair. Their work on this project was nothing short of amazing.

EOS & NYX is more than just a place to dine; it’s a true Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary. The high-ceilinged interiors, designed to make the most of the open space, are complemented by lush greenery that brings the outdoors in. Thanks to Commercial Silk Plantscape, the restaurant features stunning Feature Trees and custom-designed plantings that breathe life into the space, creating an immersive dining environment.

EOS & NYX also features a virtually invisible d&b audiotechnik xS-Series sound system by Commercial Audio Video Solutions, seamlessly integrated into the build. It’s yet another way the design blends style, innovation, and comfort to create an immersive experience and unforgettable destination in downtown San Jose.

It’s been especially rewarding to see EOS & NYX gain recognition from the press. The San Francisco Chronicle described it as one of the Bay Area’s most beautiful new restaurants, and EATER San Francisco spotlighted its creativity and design innovation, particularly the signature conveyor belt bar system. Other publications have praised EOS & NYX as “the new king of Downtown San Jose restaurants,” noting standout elements like the large Feature Trees and the striking leafy indoor canopy that creates a Mediterranean sanctuary in the heart of the city.

It’s been incredibly rewarding to see how this project has resonated with both the press and guests. We couldn’t be prouder of what was accomplished. Seeing the restaurant celebrated by the local food and design scene has been an incredible affirmation of all the hard work behind it.
