Rick Dade is the founder and president of R3 Builders, Inc., a commercial construction company based in Benicia, California. With a career that began in his father’s building business in 1994, Rick launched R3 in 2001, focusing on restaurant, retail, grocery, and office projects throughout the Bay Area. Under his leadership, R3 Builders has earned a reputation for quality, hands-on service, and successful partnerships with clients like Trader Joe’s and CVS. The firm's portfolio showcases a range of projects, from casual dining establishments to upscale retail spaces.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Rick has been active in community service. He served as the Corporate Secretary on the Board of Directors for Raphael House of San Francisco during the 2012–2013 fiscal years, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community. Today, Rick Dade continues to lead R3 Builders with a focus on innovation, quality, and client satisfaction, ensuring the company's position as a trusted name in commercial construction.

Mike Perryman came to R3 Builders in 2011 as a Project Manager after years of working alongside the company as a subcontractor through his own business, Advanced Construction Technology. With a solid background in residential construction and a reputation for getting things done, Mike quickly adapted to commercial work. In 2018, R3’s founder Rick Dade made him a partner — recognizing Mike’s ability to lead, problem-solve, and grow the company. Since then, Mike has helped drive R3’s expansion into Southern California, with a continued focus on restaurant construction, tenant improvements, and client-first service.  He’s known for being hands-on, direct, and deeply committed to doing things the right way — no shortcuts, no excuses.

Beyond the jobsite, Mike is a devoted family man. He’s been married to his high school sweetheart for 40 years and is the proud father of two children and five grandchildren — family remains the foundation of everything he does.

Sean Brennan is a Senior Project Manager at R3 Builders. With a seasoned career in the construction industry, he plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing a range of projects across the company’s portfolio. Sean ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards through close coordination with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to consistently deliver successful project outcomes.

Outside of work, Sean is an avid sailor and is currently training for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race—a unique and demanding global endurance challenge. This prestigious event brings together race crew from diverse backgrounds to navigate one or more legs of a record-breaking circumnavigation. Sean’s commitment to both his professional and personal goals reflects his drive, discipline, and passion for pushing boundaries—whether on land or at sea.
