About the Project:
Freedom Centre is a shopping center in Freedom, CA that wanted to revitalize their center with a fresh façade and new signage that would keep them competitive with other newer shopping centers in the same area. R3 Builders worked with the center for over 2 years prior to the start of construction, helping them to create a budget, doing value engineering, designing and re-designing, and refining a plan that would meet local city requirements.
Construction finally began during the summer, while business and traffic to the center was at its peak. We created safety procedures and worked to cause the minimal interruption to tenants during the outside construction phase. We also did some interior work after hours, and renovated the vacant spaces to bring them up to code and make them ready and attractive to prospective new tenants. We completed the project on time, giving Freedom Center the ability to extend the leases of existing tenants and sign new tenants, while bringing increased traffic to the center.
