About the Project:
When new Bin 38 Wine Bar owners took over an existing San Francisco restaurant and decided to create a fresh wine bar concept in the space, they contacted R3 Builders to help with the task. We quickly discovered that the restaurant had been remodeled 5 or 6 times without permits over a 15-20 year period, which created a number of challenges in bringing each area of the restaurant up to code.
The owners were on a tight budget and a constrained timeline, but R3 Builders didn’t cut corners. To help bring about the owners’ visions within budget, we conducted extensive research to find alternate materials and creative solutions that would bring about the look the owners wanted without sacrificing quality. The space opened on time, and is now a warm, inviting space that has become a hit with the locals.
